Rules

Welcome to HoltDir. By joining our Minecraft server, Discord, or web store, you agree to follow the rules outlined below. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.

1. General Conduct & Chat

  1. 01

    Respect Everyone

Treat all players and staff with respect. Harassment, hate speech, racism, sexism, discrimination, or excessive toxicity will result in an immediate ban.

  2. 02

    Language

Please keep public global chat in English so everyone can understand and our staff can moderate effectively.

  3. 03

    No Spamming or Caps

Do not spam messages, repeat characters excessively, or flood the chat in all-caps.

  4. 04

    No Advertising

Sharing IPs, Discord invite links, social media handles, or promoting other servers/services is strictly prohibited.

  5. 05

    Staff Decisions

Respect staff decisions. If you feel a punishment was unfair, open a ticket via our Discord support system rather than arguing in public chat.

2. Gameplay & Fair Play

  1. 01

    No Cheating or Hacked Clients

Using any unfair advantages—such as X-Ray, fly hacks, speed hacks, kill aura, baritone, auto-clickers, or freecam—is strictly forbidden.

  2. 02

    Allowed Client Mods

Quality-of-life client mods like OptiFine, Sodium, Iris, Lunar/Badlion Client, and minimaps (without player/radar or cave tracking) are permitted.

  3. 03

    Bug Exploitation

Do not abuse glitches, item duplication exploits, or plugin bugs. Report them immediately in our Discord #bug-reports channel.

  4. 04

    No Combat Logging

Disconnecting during PvP combat to avoid death is forbidden and will be penalized automatically or manually.

  5. 05

    Alternate Accounts

Playing on alt accounts to bypass bans, dodge mutes, or exploit daily rewards/starting kits is strictly forbidden.

3. Plots, Building & Land

  1. 01

    Inappropriate Builds

Do not build anything offensive, NSFW, hateful, or discriminatory on your plots. Such builds will be deleted without compensation.

  2. 02

    Lag Machines

Do not build massive clock circuits, endless piston loops, or complex redstone farms designed solely to drop server TPS.

  3. 03

    Spawn Shop & Booth Etiquette

Keep your rented market booths stocked and well-maintained. Do not build traps or block passage to neighboring stalls.

4. Economy & Trading

  1. 01

    Scamming

Scamming players out of in-game coins, items, or rented spaces is prohibited. All trades must be conducted fairly through official plugins (ChestShops, /ah, or trade commands).

  2. 02

    Real-World Trading

Buying or selling in-game items, currency, or plots for real money, gift cards, or external services outside of our official store (shop.holtdir.net) is strictly illegal.

5. Discord Rules

  1. 01

Keep discussions in their designated text and voice channels.

  2. 02

Do not tag @everyone, @here, or staff members unnecessarily.

  3. 03

Do not share NSFW content, gore, malicious links, or personal private information (doxxing).

Punishments

Depending on severity, rule violations will result in:

  1. Warning
  2. Temporary Mute / Kick
  3. Temporary Ban
  4. Permanent Blacklist & Plot Reset
